We visited Vicky's Auntie Jean in Oxford in July. (Great Auntie really, and Matthew's Great Great Auntie - she's 92!)

Matthew loved playing in her electric chair thing which can be controlled to tip all sorts of convoluted angles, including tipping him out! She's so well and healthy (both mentally and physically) that I'm surprised she needs it! At 92!

Close to Auntie Jean's home is a miniature railway which we (all) walked to - she had never been on it before, despite having lived close by for 30 years. But Matthew was very excited by it, and she had a go.

All three of them on Cutteslowe Park miniature railway (run by COSME, City of Oxford Society of Model Engineers). The trains were very authentic looking.

Looking at the other trains on display too. We were also meant to visit our friends Brian, Brooke, Kieran, Alex and new baby Adam too, but Alex had just got swine flu! Not nice with a new baby and we felt very sorry for them.

Quite a decent size of track for a city park. The park was very nice in general. At the back you can see an aviary, and there were lots of playing fields, green space, and a well-equipped playground.

You got a couple of goes round too for each ticket.

A very impressive looking miniature steam engine - "Western Star"

Matthew has another ride, this time on a steam engine instead of a diesel, and on the "high track".
