In August while Vicky was working, Matthew and Jif visited the Milton Maize Maze at Rectory Farm. One of their new features was this bouncy combine harvester slide, which Matthew loved.

Matthew playing the strongman. We spent the whole day here, and luckily the weather was really good (after a long period of grotty showery weather).

There was plenty to do for the whole day, and once you pay at the start all the activities are free. It's no wonder we've been coming back year after year.

Amazing flying Matthew. Queues for this were not bad (despite being free for the many visitors).

Picnic tables, hay bales for kids to sit on, gazebo with snooker table/giant jenga/giant connect 4 etc., bouncy castle, inflatable house thing - good for chases. Entrance to mini-maze in background. It was particularly good this year, especially as there was a Darwin theme and they had a treasure trail with butterflys to find. The layout was much better than previous years.

Crazy golf was just about the only thing we didn't do. Simple but effective hill with tunnels on the right. Go-karts on left. Entrance to proper maze at back.

The goats at the petting zoo section loved being (carefully!) fed grass.

Matthew thought they were very sweet.

He's determined to fatten him up!

This donkey may look as depressed as Eeyore, but at one point we saw it playing around with a toy ball.

Feeding a donkey from some tree leaves found on the ground (NOT pulled off the tree, which would have been naughty). Thankfully the fence helps prevent issues with children not feeding with flat hands!

Geese at the petting zoo too, swimming in the tiniest pond ever! I guess they must like it anyway.
