Reading the egg hunt clue under the tree (there were 10 clues altogether, they were quite tricky but Matthew worked them all out in the end, and won a chocolate egg for his troubles.

After the end of the egg hunt we made a raft for the raft race. This is Matthew's first entry. Note the googly eyes on the sail and the name (LAEMER, chosen by Matthew for reasons I do not understand!)

Here you can see our egg riding in the raft, wearing a green milk bottle top hat. We had stuck corks around the edges of the raft for floatation and put sand inside to weight it evenly.
